Olive Wagar

Olive started her journey as a Christian when she was a freshman in college in 1975. Since that time, she has lived in 13 different houses! She homeschooled her three children for 13 years during the pioneer years of homeschooling. 🙂 Over the years, she has been a homemaker, homeschool teacher, church librarian, children’s public library assistant, ladies’ Bible class teacher, Cradle Roll teacher, small business owner, professional organizer, public speaker, and Distinguished Toastmaster. As the owner of Organized by Olive, she helped overwhelmed women discover the less cluttered side of life. In 2017, she delivered the TEDx-Dayton talk “Kindness You Can Hold in Your Hand” about the value of sending handwritten cards. (You can view Olive’s speech here ) She enjoys reading historical fiction, sending cards, browsing vintage shops, and being Grammy to her sweet Tennessee grandchildren. Her greatest desire is to honor God and bless others in every season of life. She is a member of the Mid-County church of Christ in Troy, Ohio.
