Jania Otey is a native of Clovis, California and lived in Washington, D.C. for 21 years. Jania grew up attending the church and obeyed the gospel at an early age. She holds a B.A. degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctor degree from Howard University. She is admitted to practice law in Maryland and D.C. Jania has authored a vegan cookbook, published articles in The Gospel Journal, created Homeschool in a Hurry™, and she always appreciates the opportunity to share God’s Word. Jania and Melvin have two boys, Caleb James and Christian Joseph and they worship with the Perry Hill Road church of Christ. Jania devotes most of her time to educating and shaping the hearts of her sons, working in the church, and serving as the Executive Director of Kids & Culture Camp, an educational enrichment company. She lives in Montgomery, Alabama and her biggest accomplishment in life has been introducing the gospel to her husband.
