Kim Dlugo is a child of The King, daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. She has been married to her husband David for fifteen years and they have been blessed with five beautiful children (Emma, Abigail, Benjamin, Violet and Levi) Before having children, she was a public school teacher. Seven years ago, she became a reluctant, accidental homeschooler. Along with educating her own one-room school house, she often teaches the childrens’ Bible classes at her local congregation, leads women’s Bible studies, and has worked alongside her husband to facilitate a Biblically based parenting class for couples. When she is not busy with the countless hats of a stay-at-home, homeschooling wife and mama, Kim’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her family. No matter if it’s having fun together with the daily duties at home, playing games, reading a story aloud, or exploring new things and new places, she simply loves being with “her people”. She loves to travel and dreams of being a world traveler some day. She is a wanna be crafty mama (with far too little time), loves to read and dreams of writing a book……someday!

Martha is mom to five children (three biological and two foster) under seven years old. She is in her second year of homeschooling, and enjoys finding ways to streamline the schooling process to stay true to her family’s goal of living a minimalist lifestyle. For over a year, she and her husband of 12 years, Daniel, have been seeking lives that are simpler by kicking out the non-essential (whether physical items, commitments, or mental clutter). While living her “simpler” life, Martha still finds time to indulge in her photography passion with her photography companies, Howell Photography and East Tennessee Birth Photography. Martha has a B.A. in Corporate Communications from Austin Peay State University and an almost-finished M.A. in Organizational Communications from the University of Tennessee. As a former birth doula, she also has a passion for helping support women during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum time period, so in her spare time, you may find her chatting with expecting moms. Martha and her family live in Niota, TN, where Daniel preaches for the wonderfully loving and close-knit Sweetwater Church of Christ.
